Transmitter not communicating for
greater than an hour
Ensure the app has been open (not swipe killed), and in the forefront for a minimum of 5 mins to allow Bluetooth (BLE) to connect. Ask the patient to open the Dexcom app on the phone and ask what they see?
If they have Signal Loss, ask them to keep the app open for at least 5 min. If they are talking to you on the same phone, verify they are not using a Bluetooth headset or Bluetooth car system.
