    Ask the patient to power cycle the iPhone once it is powered back on open the Dexcom application and keep it open. Allow the transmitter 1 hour to reconnect.
    The patient should not access any other apps on the phone while waiting for the transmitter to reconnect.
    Phone and the transmitter must be within range and have a clear path of each other with nothing blocking during this time.
    Ensure the patient is not using any other Bluetooth accessories during this time, such as headsets or car Bluetooth system.
